V.I.P. Service Warranty*
If the equipment originally installed by an authorized AMP Smart (“AMP”) technician at any time becomes defective, AMP will repair or replace the equipment for free and only charge a $35.00 deductible. Subject to terms and conditions listed on the back of this certificate.
As long as you remain a customer in good standing pursuant to the terms of your existing Monitoring Agreement with AMP, we will repair or replace any part of the system we determine is defective without charge to you. AMP’s obligation to repair or replace any part of your system is subject to the terms and conditions of your Agreement including, but not limited to, the Limited Warranty set forth in your Agreement.
V.I.P. Move Guarantee*
If you move from your home more than one year after becoming an AMP Smart customer, we will provide you with its special Premium Relocation package. This package includes a NEW base AMP Smart security system for your new home PLUS an additional 25% discount on upgrades when you sign up for AMP monitoring services in your new location! The customer presenting AMP Smart with this ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE will be eligible to receive our V.I.P. Relocation package subject to the following. AMP will install our base security system which consists of control panel/standard keypad, three door contacts, one motion detector, and one key fob. Wireless equipment may be used. A trip fee of $35.00 will apply. Additional security devices beyond the base security system may be purchased by Customer at a discount of 25% off list price. If Customer’s new location contains an existing security system, AMP will inspect and activate the same and will replace any defective equipment up to the amount of the original equipment contained in AMP’s base security system as defined above. Customer must have satisfied at least 12 months of the initial term of its existing Monitoring Agreement with AMP Smart and execute a new AMP Smart Monitoring Agreement for 60 months at the then prevailing monthly monitoring fee for new security systems. Customer’s new location must be an existing residential property located within the contiguous United States and be an area that AMP Smart services. Local permit fees may be required. Equipment in the original site must be in working order and will not be relocated to Customer’s new location. Customer may not, in any way, be in default under any Agreement with AMP Smart. The Customer understands that presentation of the ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE signed by the Customer is required and Customer understands that AMP Smart reserves the right to reject any application that does not comply with all of the above requirements. Photocopies or other reproductions of this Certificate will NOT be accepted. This Relocation Package is subject to terms and conditions of the customer’s existing Agreement with AMP Smart, except as modified by this certificate. V.I.P. Theft Protection Pledge*
If your home is burglarized while protected by AMP Smart (“AMP”), you will be reimbursed up to $500 toward your insurance deductible, subject to the terms and conditions on the back of this pledge certificate.
The Customer presenting AMP Smart with this ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE will be eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) of Customer’s homeowners insurance deductible (if any), if and only if ALL of the following requirements are met to AMP Smart’s reasonable satisfaction: (I) the property loss was the result of a burglary that took place while Customer’s AMP Smart security system was in good working order, connected to a central station and was “on”, and while all of Customer’s doors and windows were locked; (II) the intruder entered the residence through a door, window or other area equipped with an AMP Smart detection device and such detection device was not “by-passed”; (III) Customer is not in any way in default under the Customer’s existing Monitoring Agreement with AMP Smart; (IV) Customer files a written claim with its homeowners insurance company, and such claim is not rejected or otherwise contested by the insurer; (V) Customer provides AMP Smart with a copy of the insurance claim report; (VI) Customer reports the burglary loss to the appropriate police department and provides AMP Smart with a written police report; (VII) Customer certifies in writing to AMP Smart (by signing this Original Certificate and presenting it to AMP Smart) that all of the foregoing requirements have been satisfied. Customer understands that presentation of the ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE signed by Customer is required and understands that AMP Smart reserves the right to reject an application for reimbursement that does not comply with ALL of the above requirements. Photocopies or other reproductions of the Certificate will NOT be accepted. This Pledge is subject to terms and conditions of the Customer’s existing Agreement with AMP Smart, except as modified by this certificate.
